Papa Asante is the founder of The LAB Media Empire, LLC. Responsible for all technical and operational functions at the studio, Papa thoroughly enjoys helping others fulfill their dreams through audio. As a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Hartford with a dual concentration in Audio Engineering Technology & Electronic Engineering Technology, Papa is more than qualified to tackle any ideas you may have in the audio recording realm. He oversees all company operations, in addition to engineering tracking and mixing sessions. Papa serves on the Industrial Advisory Board at The University of Hartford and holds an MBA in Sports and Entertainment Management from Iona College.

General Manager; Vocal Training Director

Cookie is the General Manager and Director of Vocal Training at The LAB Media Empire, LLC. She began taking vocal lessons at the age of 6 at the renowned Palomba Academy of Music in the Bronx, NY, learning the foundation of music and the voice as an instrument. Upon entering high school she was recruited into PAVE, a special and concentrated music curriculum offered at New Rochelle High School for musically and artistically gifted students. While in PAVE, she joined BELOVED, a female gospel trio that went on to perform at various functions internationally, including opening for Grammy award winning gospel artist Tye Tribbett. In addition to her work at The LAB, Cookie currently serves as Music Director at Family Christian Center, leading a worship team weekly in front of a crowd of hundreds. Cookie is a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where she studied Public Relations while also serving as an All-American Track & Field athlete. She also holds an MBA in Sports and Entertainment Management from Iona College.
